Terms of service

Last updated 16 October 2026

These terms apply when a business ("you") uses Chatji (chatji.ai), operated by Chatji("we"). By creating an account or using the service you accept them on behalf of your business.

The service

Chatji lets you connect your WhatsApp Business number and use a shared inbox, an AI agent, automations, broadcasts, payment links and ad reporting. Messaging runs on Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform, so Meta's terms and policies also apply to you, including the WhatsApp Business Policy and the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy.

Your responsibilities

  • Message only people who have agreed to hear from your business, and send marketing only to those who opted in. Respect opt-outs (Chatji stops marketing to anyone who replies STOP).
  • Use approved templates where WhatsApp requires them, and do not send spam, misleading content, or anything illegal.
  • Give your AI agent accurate information about your business, and check how it answers. You are responsible for what is sent from your number, including AI replies and automated messages.
  • Have the right to use the data you bring into Chatji, and tell your customers how you use their data.
  • Keep your account secure and tell us about any unauthorised use.

Fees

Prices for Chatji, if any, are shown before you agree to pay them. Meta charges separately for WhatsApp conversations and template messages under its own pricing, and payment providers such as Razorpay charge their own fees.

Your data

You own your data. We process it to provide the service as described in our Privacy policy. You can disconnect your number or connected stores at any time, and ask us to delete your data as described on the Data deletion page.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Chatji available and correct, but the service depends on third parties such as Meta, and is provided "as is". We may change or improve features; if a change significantly reduces what you rely on, we will tell you in advance where we can.

Suspension and ending

You can stop using Chatji at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or Meta's policies, or puts the service or others at risk; where possible we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix it.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or for messages, actions or outages of third-party services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the three months before the claim.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
